WHAT IS A LACE WIG?

A lace wig is very unique. The hair is knotted or built on a very sheer lace cap, and the main feature is that at the hairline and when parted, a lace wig looks incredibly natural. It looks as if the hair is growing right out of your own scalp. This is not your traditional or regular wig.It's much better and looks unbelievably natural. 

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A LACE FRONT AND A FULL LACE WIG?

A LACE FRONT wig has lace in the front of the wig and the back part of the wig is made with tracks like a regular wig. This type of wig is great for someone wanting to try out lace wigs and also for someone who would prefer not to fuss with glue at the nape of the neck. Front lace wigs can easily be used for daily wear or for extended wear - depending on the method of attachment - hairpins, tape, glue, etc. Lace Front wigs cannot be worn in a high Pony tail or Updos and are better worn down at the back. A FULL LACE WIG has the entire wig cap made of lace and can be worn in High Pony Tails or Updos. They usually require the entire perimeter of the wig to be bonded to the head by tape or glue. Both Front Lace and Full Lace Wigs, once applied, creates a flawless, natural and invisible hairline. 

HOW TO MEASURE YOUR HEAD FOR A LACE FRONT OR FULL LACE WIG Before Measuring 

1. Be sure to style your hair in the same way as you will wear it under the lace wig.<< If you plan to wear 

your hair in cornrows underneath

 the wig, you must take your measurements with your hair braided in cornrows.

2. Make sure your hair is as flat as possible. You will need a measuring tape to take your measurements 

in inches.Do not pull the tape too

 tight, but it should be a snug fit. We recommend measuring at least 3 times to assure accuracy, as your 

wig will be constructed based only

 on the measurements you provide.

 We also recommend that you add approximately 1/4 inch more than your actual measurement. Measuring 

beyond your hairline ensures that

 when glued or taped, your wig will adhere to your skin and not directly on your hairline.

*The measuring unit used is inches.* Measuring your head correctly will be the key to a proper fit.

How to Measure

1. Circumference of the head: This is the only measurement needed when ordering a stock wig. 

Measure around the hairline of the entire head.

 Position the tape measure so its edge follows the hairline around the head and nape of the neck.

 (Average measurement is 22" to 22 1/2 inches).

2. Front to nape: Measure 1/4 inch beyond the front hairline and go over the top of the head to 1/4 inch 

past the hairline at the nape of the neck. 

This measurement provides a comfortable front to back fit. (Average measurement is 14 to 15.5 inches)

3. Ear-to-ear across forehead: Measure from the front of the ear at hairline at the base of sideburn, up across the hair 

line along forehead to same

 point in front of opposite ear. (Average measurement is 11 1/2 to 12 inches).

4. Ear-to-ear over the top of head: Measure from hairline directly above the ear across top of head to the hairline 

directly above the other ear. 

(Average measurement is 11 1/2 to 12 inches ).

5. Temple to temple: From temple to temple across the back of head. (Average measurement is 14 to 15 inches).

6. Nape of neck: Measure the width of hairline across the nape of the neck. (Average measurement is 5 to 6 inches). 

CAN I GO SWIMMING OR CAN I GET THE WIG WET?

YES. Wearing a lace wig is just like wearing your regular hair so you can do all normal activities with it on such as swimming, showering, sweating, 

Sleeping etc. No one will know (unless you tell them) that it is not your own natural hair. The only time that it's recommended not to get the wig wet is the first 24 hours after applying the adhesive. There are also special water proof adhesives that can

 be used to apply the lace wig. 

CAN I PART MY WIG ANYWHERE?

ALL FULL LACE wigs CAN be parted anywhere - Center, Left, Right, Middle, Back Etc.. LACE FRONT Wigs can be parted only in the Lace Front Area. (3inch) 

WILL A LACE WIG DAMAGE MY HAIRLINE?

No. A Lace wig that is properly applied will not damage your hairline. 

CAN I STYLE A LACE WIG MYSELF?

YES. Indian Remy Hair is Human Hair and can be styled just like your own hair. You can set it, blow dry it, hot curl it, Flat iron it etc. 

WIg Care

1.Wash the lace wig  in cold or warm water.

2.Add a dash of shampoo and wash gently.

3.Rinse throughly in cold water.

4.Do not brush when wet allow wig to drip dry.

5.Brush wig into desired style after it is completely dry.

6.Do not use curling irons,blow dryers,hot styling instruments or under sunshine.

Avoid Shedding:

(We made the lace wigs by human hand,you can believe the quality of it.However

you can follow the advices below to avoid shedding.)

1.Do not touch the root of the wig when you take care of it.

2.Do not let the wig tie knot...3

1) wash your hair clean and dry it completely before applying the weave.

2) For manage ability,put each wor sparsely.

3) When washing, use gently running water, lightly rub hair and scaip.

4) To maintain curly hair or wet look, lightly apply gel mouses,or oil sheen,oil sheen is

 not recommended for bonded hair, oil may cause weave to ship out.

5) when combing, always comb bottom of hair first and work your way up to the root.

6) when removing, please always consult your professional beautician.

7) for curly hair, do not brush when it is dry.

8) use large toothed comb or your fingers while hair is wet!
